Hollow Shaft Reducer
Hollow Shaft Reducer The hollow shaft reducer features a large central bore, allowing cables, shafts, or tubing to pass directly through the gearbox. The planetary gear set ensures compact high-torque performance, and the case-hardened gear surfaces (HRC58–62) provide excellent durability. With transmission ratios from 3 to 250, low backlash, and efficiency of ≥97%, this design is ideal for rotary index tables, robotic arms, and through-hole automation devices requiring compact cable routing.

To use the hollow shaft reducer, the output is typically mounted over a fixed shaft or connected to a rotary platform. The reducer’s hollow bore allows direct installation onto a drive shaft or indexing spindle. Fixing is achieved via keyways, clamping rings, or torque arms, depending on the application. For stable operation, optional flange plates or locking bushings can be used to ensure precise positioning and secure torque transmission. This configuration is ideal for applications that require minimal axial space and clean cable or pipe routing through the center.
